Following the successful launch of the 3008 Active Petrol SUV, Peugeot Philippines continues its SUV-offensive strategy with the launch of the 2020 Peugeot 5008 Allure seven-seater SUV. This new release of the Peugeot 5008 SUV promises to take the driving experience to the next level, focusing on upgraded driving, safety, and accessibility features.

Same look, amplified experiences

In both the exterior and interior, subtle aesthetic changes can be seen in the 2020 Peugeot 5008 SUV. For instance, new 18” Detroit alloy wheels enhance the vehicle’s athletic appearance. Inside, both driver and passengers are greeted with full Claudia leather seats and a panoramic sunroof with ambient LED lighting that adds a premium touch to the cabin space.

Boasting an array of new technologies, this iteration of the Peugeot 5008 SUV puts emphasis on driving and comfort. Peugeot’s full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) make their debut on this new model. This includes an active blind spot detection system, advanced driver attention alerts, lane keeping assistance, and a speed limiter and cruise control feature with intelligent speed adaptation. For added convenience, an electronic tailgate with foot sensor is also provided.

More accessible luxury

Similar to the Peugeot 3008 Active Petrol SUV, the 2020 Peugeot 5008 SUV also enjoys a more attractive pricing, making it poised to better compete with the local competition.

“At this price point, the 2020 Peuegot 5008 SUV has the best combination of premium features and impressive technologies in a vehicle available in the market today,” Sales Director for Peugeot Philippines, Dodie Gañac said.

Easier ownership

In addition, Peugeot hopes to make the ownership experience easier with the inclusion of Autosweep and Easytrip RFIDs conveniently installed in their units upon delivery. This will save them the trouble of having to go to an authorized station for installation. The RFIDs will have a preliminary load of P500 worth of credits for each RFID.

When it comes to meeting the preventive maintenance schedules, customers can take advantage of the 24/7 Service Center at Peugeot Pasig, the country’s first-ever in-house service facility with 24/7 operations. Providing expert care and professional assistance to its customers, the Peugeot Pasig Service Center offers critical services such as 24/7 towing and assistance, overall vehicle maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance service (PMS), electrical system check-up and repair, drivetrain and suspension check-up and repair, computer diagnosis, parts replacement, aircon check-up and repair, mechanical system check-up and repair, and on-site diagnosis.

Finally, under Peugeot Philippines’ “Protectors of the Environment” initiative, each new Peugeot owner will be given the chance to plant trees at the Angat Rainforest and Eco Park (or in other select locations around Metro Manila), giving customers the chance to give back to the environment and take part in driving pleasure with less of the environmental guilt.

The 2020 Peugeot 5008 Allure seven-seater SUV is now available in select Peugeot dealerships nationwide with a Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of P2,190,000. Interested customers may inquire at [email protected] for more information.
