Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso arrived in Seoul, South Korea Sunday to speak at a conference on climate and air quality.
According to Manila Public Information Office, Moreno went to Korea upon the invitation of former United Nations (UN) Secretary General Bank Ki-moon. He arrived at around 5 a.m.
Moreno will speak before the National Council on Air and Climate Air Quality Conference.
He was also invited to speak at the luncheon meeting which will be hosted by former UN Secretary General for some international leaders.
Other invite speakers in these two events include the former Prime Minister of South Korea, China’s Minister of Environment, Mongolia’s Minister of Environment and Tourism.
The mayor will be back in Manila on Tuesday after attending these two events organized by the former UN Secretary General.
