LIFE PARANOIA

By Kervin Huang

Have you ever experienced extreme fear inside an elevator? Here’s my story, which happened at FEU’s technology building. Taking the lift casually down nine floors may seem like an easy task, even if it was at 9:15 p.m. and with nobody around. But this time it was different. No personnel inside the elevator, just me. It stopped on the third floor even when no buttons were pushed besides the one for the ground floor. When the doors opened, I was greeted by nothing but darkness. I felt the rush of adrenaline as I continuously tried to close the elevator doors. But they wouldn’t close. Then, suddenly, the doors just slammed shut.
