Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta announced a half-day work in all courts in the country on Thursday, October 31, to enable court officials and employees to prepare for All Saints’ Day celebration on November 1.
The advisory on half-day work that ends at 12 noon is contained in a memorandum circular issued by Peralta in line with the Supreme Court’s resolution issued on Aug. 28, 2018.
It covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, and all first and second level courts like the regional trial courts, municipal trial courts, municipal circuit trial courts, municipal trial courts in cities, metropolitan courts, and all Shari’a courts.
Regular office work resumes on Monday, November 4.
