14 new judges appointed

President Duterte has appointed 14 new judges for the municipal circuit trial court (MCTC), municipal trial court (MTC), municipal trial court in cities (MTCC).

Appointed were Judge Cleo Marie C. Santillan for MCTC in Buruanga-Malay, Aklan; Judge Kristin Marie N. Falalimpa for MCTC in Barbaza-Lana-an-Tibiao in Antique; Judge Melinaire L. Jalipa Diamante for MCTC in Culasi-Sebaste in Antique; Judge Socorro G. Rapiz Oliveros for MTC in Panitan, Capiz; Judge Jennie Ann T. Logronio for MTCC in Roxas City, Capiz.

Judge Alonette S. Ragodo Perez, for MTC in Lambunao, Iloilo; Judge Radney R. Garcia, for MTCC, Branch 7 in Iloilo City; Judge Chairmaine B. Mascardo for MCTC in Calatrava-Toboso, Negros Occidental; Judge Ma. Lynette S. Eusebio for MCTC in Isabela-Moises Padilla in Negros Occidental; Mavil V. Majarucon Sia for MCTC in Ilog-Candoni, Negros Occidental.

Judge Enrique Maria Santiago B. Barcelona for MTC in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental; Judge Joseph Gedeoni C. Velencia for MTC in La Castellana, Negros Occidental; Judge Aireen O. Bonghanoy, for MTCC in Bago City; Negros Occidental; and Judge Biena Marieta C. Cabusao for MTCC in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

They were appointed by the President from the list of nominees submitted by the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC), the constitutional office that accepts, screens and nominates appointments to the judiciary.
