Did Vice Ganda just confirm his relationship with Ion Perez?
The question trended on various social media platforms over the weekend, particularly during the “Magpasikat” segment on “It’s Showtime” won by Vice’s team.
After their performance, the comedy actor remarked how difficult it is to mask the pain of “feeling alone.” He admitted to getting affected by some of the harsh criticisms he receives.
Thankfully, he has someone to help move on: His rumored boyfriend Ion Perez.
Short of confirming their relationship, Vice Ganda described Ion as his “katuwang sa buhay.”
Kasi for so many years, for so many times in the past I’ve felt like I was all alone.
“And I am so happy. Hindi ko makakalimutan itong 10th year ng ‘It’s Showtime’ dahil… ang sabi ko, ‘You don’t need to be loved by the whole world, you only need yourself and one person to accept and love you back.’ At mayroon na ako nu’n,” he said, before directly naming Ion as that person.
Ion joined “It’s Showtime” as “Kuya Escort” in the popular “Miss Q&A” segment. Outside of the show, the two have been seen spending time together.
