After being away from the recording industry for 13 years, Reuben Laurente returns with new song “Ang Pinakamagandang Awit” that reminds of the glorious days of OPM movie soundtracks when soulful ballads were sung by the likes of Basil Valdez and Nonoy Zuniga.
Reuben won the Aliw Awards Best Male Concert Artist of the Year plum. He began his career as gospel singer for Papuri! and he was a member of vocal group The CompanY.
When Myko Manago sings, the soul is captivated, the heart is soothed. He is a three-time defending champion on “Showtime’s” “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” This guy from Cavite City started singing at age 9, mostly into pop R&B songs.
His first digital song is “Stuck.” The easy listening track composed by Robster Evangelista is about finding the one.
Melancholy and poetry meld in the songs of Jessamae Gabon. She has just released “Ensayado”, a mix of pop-rock and retro that talks about a common but very personal process of facing one’s reservations when it comes to love.
Jessamae is also a talent of Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas, a puppet theater group whose works cater to children’s literature and Asian puppet theater playing to audiences around Asia and the world.
Curve Entertainment will distribute the three songs on all streaming sites.
