Holiday parties are in full swing now with reunions and get-togethers scheduled one after the other. Food preparation is one of the minds of hosts, as well as where to keep the leftovers after the party ends.
This season, food storage brand Glad has teamed up with restaurateur and hands-on mom Happy Ongpauco-Tiu to feature her specialty dishes that make parties extra special.
Using Glad Cook ‘n Bake Paper, Happy cooked her savory salmon en Papillote dish. Glad Cook ‘n Bake Paper is made of a high-quality baking and cooking paper with a specially designed non-stick coating. It is heat resistant up to 230-degree celsius. It eliminates the need for fats and oils when cooking, allowing homemakers to create healthier meals with less mess.
Another sumptuous dish, Happy’s take on Filipino-style Paella was cooked in a rice cooker then transferred into a GLAD container after it has cooled down.
Following the cooking demo, the brand also announced its newest venture with Happy. Dubbed “Happy Platters,” customers can now avail of her sumptuous dishes served in holiday-themed Glad platters. “It is perfect for instant parties, potlucks, or even delicious gifts for your loved ones,” Happy said.
