A 74-year-old man yielded over P1 million worth of suspected shabu in a drug bust at Barangay 168 in Deparo, Caloocan City Sunday morning.
Arrested was Alcober Rosevelito, alias “Bossing, jobless, resident of Barangay 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
Elements of the Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (CCPS-SDEU) conducted the sting at around 11:25 a.m.
Investigation showed that Rosevelito was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth about P75,000 to a poseur buyer.
A plastic bag of suspected shabu weighing 150 grams was also recovered from the suspect. The seized illegal drugs have an estimated worth of P1,020,000, police said.
The retrieved pieces of evidence were brought to the CCPS-SDEU office for proper disposition.
Rosevelito, who is now under police custody, will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
