Momoland’s Nancy regains IG after hacking

K-pop girl group Momoland member Nancy’s Instagram account was hacked but she was able to regain it.

On Oct. 24, Nancy posted on MLD Entertainment’s Instagram and Twitter accounts that “my Instagram account
has been hacked and deleted… We’re trying to get it back.”

MLD Entertainment, Momoland’s agency, stated that “after being hacked, the personal SNS (Instagram) account of Nancy – an artist under the company – was forced to be deleted. Furthermore, the hacker continued to cause secondary damage by creating a similar ID to impersonate Nancy,” according to OSEN and V Live Today.

It added that “in this regard, the company has proposed to cooperate with the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit as well as requesting countermeasures and remedies for the damage caused by the hacker on the SNS (Instagram) account above.”

“Once again, our company would like to emphasize that we will take stringent legal measures against this hacking attack,” it said.

A day after, she revealed that she was able to get back her account.

“Its Nancy again! I got my Instagram account back. Thank you Merries for your support it really made my day,” she posted online.
