Iloilo City—Nine towns in Iloilo province have new police chiefs.
This is after Police Colonel Roland Vilela, director of Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), announced Thursday that there was a reshuffling order.
“It has been noticed that some units are manned by officers with ranks lower than what is required. Thus, the need for reshuffling,” Vilela explained.
The new chiefs are Police Major Gilbert Baldevarona of Dueñas town, Police Major Juvy Navales of San Enrique town, Police Major Fernand Limbungan of Maasin town, Police Major Jojo Tabaloc of Pavia town, Police Major Niño Leonard Amar of Cabatuan town, Police Captain Rene Del Castillo of San Dionisio town, Police Lieutenant Edgar Labiscase of Batad town, Police Lieutenant Joebert Amado of San Miguel town, and Police Lieutenant Alexander Lauron of Mina town.
On the other hand, Police Lieutenant George Caño is now with the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company from his previous assignment in Batad town.
Vilela assured that the reshuffling of 10 officers will boost campaign against illegal drugs, crime, and communist insurgency as well as stronger internal cleansing.
