LRT-2 announces new schedule; trips to start at 5 a.m. anew beginning October 14

Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced on Saturday that the new operating schedule which will begin on Monday will start at 5 a.m.

According to a report by GMA News, LRTA Board secretary Atty. Hernando Cabrera said that they adjusted the schedule so instead of 6 a.m., the Light Rail Transit (LRT) will start operating at 5 a.m.
After the incident with the rectifiers, the LRTA said that the repairs will take up to nine months.

On October 5, the LRTA announced they will resume operations partially from Cubao to Recto stations.
To ease the woes of commuting students, the LRTA arranged free rides from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
