‘’We are besieged from the outside,’’ Gordon said in his preliminary statement at the start of Wednesday’s ninth committee hearing on ‘’ninja cops;’ and recycling of illegal drugs.
Gordon said these Chinese drug lords are aided in the flow of their multi-billion-peso smuggling operations into the country by crooked immigration, police and customs officials.
Most of the big time drug lords arrested and incarcerated at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) are Chinese, he noted.
Authorities have discovered that these jailed drug lords have turned the NBP into air-conditioned hotels complete with free use of cell phones used in directing the traffic of illegal drugs outside the prison walls, gambling operations and the entry of women to satisfy their sex drives, among others.
‘’The NBP has become the stock exchange of drugs,’’ Gordon said.
