89 out of 156 examinees pass Naval Architect Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday that 89 out of 156 examinees passed the Naval Architect Licensure examination administered in Manila this October.

The topnotcher of this year’s exam was Carlo Perez Marasigan, a student from Namei Polytechnic Institute who got a score of 89.40.

He was followed by students from University of Cebu: Shayne Rañola Ondray, 88.80; Dweena Maye Velez Zamora, 88.20; Manuel Ursal Dadol Jr., 87.80; Ralf Flores Del Rosario, 87.60; Marianne Rayos Castor and Adnan Paul Malaluan Lucero, of Namei Polytechnic Institute tied at sixth place with 87.20.

They are followed by students from University of Cebu: Rodette Chyne Naval, 86.80; Lawrence Dane Zalsos Balili and Raymond Cornico Espina tied at eight place with 86.70; Russel Debuayan Arnejo, 86.40 and Mary Francine Simbajon Aguirre with 85.80 to complete the top 10.

The examination was administered by the Board of Naval Architecture.

The PRC in their website page said that board passers are required to personally register and affix their signature in the roster of registered professionals.

The date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced later, PRC said.
