In an interview on ANC, Eleazar said Gomez, who fled to United States via Bangkok and Taiwan, should just return to the country.

“We have extradition treaty. For sure, lumiliit na yung mundo niya at makakabuti siguro na bumalik na lang siya at sumuko,” Eleazar said.

The NCRPO chief added that they were already coordinating with their foreign counterparts to address the situation.

When asked if Gomez’s departure had an effect on her operations in the country, the NCRPO chief said that it had already been affected even before she left.

“Even before siya umalis [na apektuhan na] because of the arrests we have made sa mga tentacles niya,” he said.
