A 4.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Surigao del Norte Monday afternoon.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in their Facebook page reported that the earthquake struck at 2:10 p.m.
It was traced 82 kilometers southeast of General Luna.
The earthquake had a depth of 2 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
There are no expected aftershocks and the earthquake is not expected to cause damage.
