Firefighter saves puppy

BACOLOD CITY – A volunteer firefighter was praised online for rescuing a puppy from a burning house in Barangay Alijis here over the weekend.

Albert Mendoza, a member of the Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade here resuscitated the puppy which was unconscious for a few minutes.

The animal had lost consciousness after being electrocuted inside the house.

Mendoza said has dogs for pets, that’s why he tried his best to save the puppy.

Netizens congratulated him for saving the dog.

In his Facebook post, Mendoza, said he felt good knowing that many people appreciated what he did.

“I’m a dog lover and a firefighter who turned superhero to a loving puppy,” he said.
