“Yes. He did not perform…At least when it comes to traffic and when it comes to dealing with the solutions for the traffic mess, I think that somebody else should take his place,” Poe said in an interview with ANC’s Headstart.

“I’m sorry to say, I’m not here to make people look bad. I’m here to present the truth and to find a solution,” she added.

Poe, chair of the Senate Committee on Public Services, also reiterated that even without emergency powers, the government was able to clean up Boracay in six months.

“With emergency powers, rehabilitation in Marawi (City) is still stalled. So it’s really leadership by determination, by follow ups and focus. Which, Secretary [Carlos] Dominguez apparently had,” she added

Tugade earlier reiterated need for emergency powers to solve traffic congestion in the metropolis.

Poe said she was not giving up on decongesting EDSA “and neither should we.”
