Yacob is in the Philippines for a five-day state visit. She arrived Sunday afternoon.
After the ceremony, she was scheduled to meet President Duterte in Malacañang.
Malacañang said that trade, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges will top the agenda of the bilateral meeting scheduled today between her and Duterte.
Yacob was joined by Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso during the wreath-laying ceremony.
