PCCI honors Buddhist group for Yolanda rehab efforts at the 28th Visayas Business Confab

National leaders of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry led the conferment of special recognition to Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines for providing billions in assistance directly to families affected by super typhoon Yolanda at the 28th Visayas Area Business Conference held on August 22 to 23 at The Oriental Hotel in Palo, Leyte hosted by the PCCI-Tacloban Leyte Inc. with the theme One Visayas: Center of Emerging Market and Future Business".  The Buddhist organization provided "cash for work" and constructed several houses and even helped rebuild Catholic Churches that were destroyed by the calamity.  Photo shows  PCCI officials led by its president Ma.
