The new building has 16 classrooms, five offices, and a library.

Each classroom is furnished with blackboards and about 50 armchairs. Some of the rooms are also equipped with air conditioning units and electric fans.

UCC officials thanked Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan and the rest of the local government for their donation and said thousands of students would benefit from the new school building.

“Lubos po tayong nagpapasalamat kay mayor Oca sapagkat hindi lamang 100 porsyentong libre ang edukasyon sa UCC kung hindi patuloy din ang pagpapatayo ng mga bagong gusali at pagsasaayos ng ating unibersidad (We are very thankful to mayor Oca because not only is the tuition 100 percent free at UCC, he also continues to establish new buildings in our campus and fix our university),” said Marilyn De Jesus, UCC's Vice President for Administration.

Malapitan said improving the educational field in Caloocan City, which includes upgrading school campuses with new buildings and ammenities, is one of his priorities before his term as mayor ends.

"Sa Caloocan, walang batang maiiwan sa larangan ng edukasyon (In Caloocan, no child will be left behind in terms of education)," he said.
