Ship Captain Jonathan Mercader said the fast craft, owned by Shogun Shipping Lines, can accommodate as many as 183 passengers.
The vessel has average speed of 12 knots and the trip will take 3 hours and 52 minutes.

The Visayas native ship captain added that among the amenities that passengers can enjoy during their trip are free wifi, everyone can watch movies, travel safely with clean facilities.

"Dito may wifi, may movies at bumibiyahe ka sa parang Yate ang dating, yun bang parang cruise ang experience kasi parang yate, saka malinis at safe ang biyahe," he added.

Barangay Captain Alex Sotto of Poblacion, Castilla, said it will be the town’s first ferry service.

Because Castilla is closer to the national highway than Pilar town, which also has a port, travelers can save at least two hours of travel time when going to Masbate City.

Shogun Shipping also has an arrangement with a bus line to pick up ferry passengers from Castilla and bring them to Legazpi City.
