After the lead of industry rivals last weekend, the other oil companies had also announced price cuts at their petroleum retail pumps on Tuesday.
The oil firms that rolled back prices starting 6:00am on Tuesday include major players Petron Corporation and Plipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation – matching the price reductions of competitors of P0.50 per liter for gasoline; P1.10 per liter for diesel; and P1.30 per liter for kerosene.
The other industry players that also trimmed prices and already made announcements as of press time had been PTT Philippines, Total and Flying V.
World oil prices were on downswing last week, hence, this warranted the price declines that Filipino motorists are bound to enjoy this week.
