A woman reportedly died in a fire that hit a residential area in Pasay City Wednesday morning.
Reports said the fire started at around 5:40 a.m. along 3rd Street in Barangay 183 in Villamor Air Base.
A 32-year-old woman was trapped inside the bathroom of a house and was not able to survive, reports said.
Pasay City Bureau of Fire Protection Superintendent Paul Pili said the victim was said to have a mental disability.
The fire reached 2nd alarm and was officially declared out at 6:22 a.m.
Authorities are looking into the cause of the fire.
