Man shot to death in Mandaluyong
A 41-year-old man was killed by an unidentified gunman while sitting in front of his neighbor’s house in Mandaluyong City on Sunday.
Police Col. Moises Villaceran identified the fatality as Renato Ocado of Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City.
Initial investigation showed that Ocado was sitting in front of his neighbor's house at around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday when he was shot multiple times by the still unidentified suspect.
Ocada was killed on-the-spot after sustaining two bullet wounds on his left face and another on his left arm, police said.
The suspect then fled on foot towards an undetermined direction.
Probers said no security footages were installed near the area, which could make the investigation more difficult.
Three fired cartridge cases were recovered on the crime scene, police said.
Villaceran told the Manila Bulletin that Ocado allegedly had enemies.
However, the police chief stressed that the case is still under investigation to determine the possible motive of the suspect behind the killing. (Jhon Aldrin Casinas)
