The Manila Police District (MPD) Traffic Enforcement Unit issued a rerouting schedule for a retirement rite rehearsal along United Nations Avenue in Manila.

In an advisory on Wednesday, the MPD said the stretch of UN Avenue from San Marcelino Street to Taft Avenue will be closed to motorists at 8:30 a.m. on July 24.
MPD Traffic Enforcement Unit also advised motorists and commuters to expect heavy traffic and to take alternate routes.
All west-bound vehicles should turn right to Romualdez Street or turn left to San Marcelino Street to point of destination.
East-bound motorists should turn right to Taft Avenue or turn right to Gen. Luna Street to point of destination.
The MPD will conduct a rehearsal for the retirement of Col. Marcelino Pedrozo Jr., the Deputy District Director for Administration of the Manila police.
