Farrah Ajoc, national chairperson of D4 Movement for Federalism, told The Manila Bulletin that around 20 former Marawi residents, who are now living in different parts of Metro Manila, participated in the gathering.

Sixty-one year old Intan Pamintan, who now lives with her relatives in Montalban, Rizal, said that she still had trust in the President in whatever his plans for her old hometown.

“We let him do whatever he plans to do,” Pamintan said.

“We will just wait for him,” she added.

She said that she was only hoping that the President would extend assistance for them to be able to start again.

“We just want a source of income,” Pamintan said.
