P1-M worth of ‘shabu’ seized in CamSur drug bust

CAMP OLA, Albay – At least P1,000,000.00 worth of suspected “shabu” was confiscated by joint elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), PNP and Philippine Army from 4 drug pushers during the anti-drug operations Iriga City in Camarines Sur province on Wednesday morning.

Police Major Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of Police Regional Office 5 (PRO-5) said that suspects Jayroll Labradores y Lambonao, alias “Teng”; Alvin Labradores y Flores; Dionel Labrador y Royo; and Nathaniel Sierra y Berdin, all residents of Makati City were arrested by anti-narcotics enforcers during the drug buy-bust operations at Iriga Sports Complex, Brgy. San Nicolas, this city around 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday.

Calubaquib said that one piece knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing 150 grams of suspected “shabu” was confiscated from the suspects.

Also confiscated during the drug sting were cellular phones and boodle money.

Arrested persons are now under the temporary custody of PDEA Cam Sur PO.
