PGH Officer-in-Charge and spokesperson Jubert Benedicto said that the renovation of the hospital's facilities started June last year and is expected to be completed by February next year.

Benedicto, meanwhile, noted that the PGH is not rejecting patients.

Benedicto urged those patients with non-critical condition to visit other tertiary hospitals or local government hospitals.

"Considering the situation po na ito, ay ma utilize din po nila yung ibang hospital lalo na po sa mga local government units kasi capable din po yung ibang tertiary hospitals," he said.
