Mayor Tomas Osmeña removed all the fixtures in his office a few days before the end of his term on June 30.

The mayor’s office looked empty and abandoned because all the furnitures, floor tiles, toilet bowls, ceiling and glass dividers were removed.
According to Osmeña’s executive officer, the mayor did not violate any law because the office was renovated with his own money because the request for funds to renovate the office was denied by the local government.
An investigation will be conducted by incoming Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella’s camp to see if Osmeña committed any violation.
