Lone bettor gets 5 of 6 of winning combination of Grand Lotto 6/55, wins P200K

A lone consolation prize winner of Grand Lotto 6/55 bagged P200, 000 during Monday night's draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

The agency said the winning combination was 40-48-29-52-09-18, which had a total jackpot of P29, 700, 000.

The consolation prize winner, PCSO said, was able to correctly guess five digits of the winning combination, a digit short from getting the whopping jackpot.

The P200, 000 consolation prize will be subjected to 20 percent tax in accordance with the TRAIN Law.

There was also no winner of the over P50 million jackpot of Mega Lotto 6/45. The combination was 07-27 - 40 - 13 - 03 - 26.

Thirty bettors will get P32, 330 each, which will also be subjected to 20 percent tax. They only got five digits of the six-digit winning combination.

PCSO said all lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. at PTV 4. Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday Friday and Sunday.
