"Other than saying that the latest ranting of the incorrigible shameless former military renegade is, as usual, nonsensical and pompous, it is undeserving of a response," Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

Trillanes has urged Kapa-Community Ministry International Inc. to seek the impeachment of Duterte for allegedly violating their religious freedom. He argued that Duterte has no right to stop the "donation" of Kapa members because of the constitutional guarantee of religious freedom.

President Duterte earlier ordered authorities to shut down Surigao del Sur-based religious group for an alleged investment scam. Duterte claimed that the group, which was allegedly engaged in a pyramiding scheme, was involved in large-scale estafa.

The Securities and Exchange Commission earlier revoked the registration of Kapa for the alleged authorized sale of securities. The company was allegedly selling securities in the form of investment contracts in the guise of donations without a proper license.
