Ifugao bantamweight prospect Carl Jammes Martin will be making his second televised bout Sunday night at the TV5 Studios in Novaliches, Quezon City.

The 20-year-old Martin will battle Yuttichai Wannawong of Thailand in a 10-round non-title fight, his second bout in Manila after campaigning mostly up North.

Dubbed by his Ifugao followers as "Wonder Boy", Martin holds an unblemished 12-0 record, 11 ending via knockout.

Martin’s last fight was held February 16 at the SM Skydome where he stopped Wannawong’s compatriot, Petchorchae Kokietgym inside three rounds which served as the Lagawe-native boxer’s Manila ring debut.

“Marami po ako nakita na mali sa laban na yun at gusto ko na maitama dito sa darating ko na laban,” said Martin who is trained by his father, Abel.

While the 22-year-old Wannawong suffered nine losses in his 17-fight pro career, he is still considered as a livewire opponent as the Bangkok-born boxer, who is about four inches taller than Martin, has tallied eight stoppages in his nine victories.

“Hindi pwedeng maliitin yung Thai at dapat ko isipin na naghahanda siya para talunin ako kaya ganoon na din lang ang paghahanda na ginawa ko sa gym,” added Martin.

The card, presented by Sanman Promotions, will also feature the ring return of former world lightflyweight champion Randy Petalcorin who will battle another Thai Worawatchai Boonjan.

Also seeing action in the action-filled card are top flyweight prospects Dave Apolinario and Jayson Mama who will battle separate tough challengers.

First fight will start 12nn with all bouts being aired live via ESPN5 and its Youtube live streaming.
