Caloocan posted the second most lopsided win in the Metro League Reinforced Conference by tripping Marikina by 43 points, 129-86, at the Valenzuela City Astrodome on Tuesday night.
The Supremos exploded early on, dropping 39 points in the first quarter before holding off the once-again depleted Shoelanders en route to the blowout.
Michael De Leon amassed 23 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals for Caloocan, whose winning margin was six points shy of Taguig’s 49-point lead against Manila at the end of their May 21 clash.
Abdoulaye Niang added 22 points, 20 rebounds, three assists, one block, and three steals, while McArthur Enriquez chipped in 21 markers, three rebounds, and two dimes. Both came off the bench.
Mel Mabigat made 22 points, 11 caroms, six assists, and two steals for seven-man Marikina, which bowed out of the conference at 1-8.
