The SM Store has once again proven that it is not just the country’s go to fashion department store but home to the best fashion campaigns and online programs.
The SM Store's fashion campaigns brought home the top recognition in APAC Stevie Awards 2019 recently held in Singapore. Accepting the awards are (from left) Fiona Araneta, Senior Marketing Manager; Kathy Chua, Vice President for Marketing; and Jan Michael Borja, Marketing Manager.
In this year’s APAC Stevie Awards, previously known as The American Business Awards and The International Business Awards, the Philippines’ leading department store bagged gold, silver, and bronze awards for its various innovative and entertaining events and campaigns for its shoppers.
The SM Store was named the golden awardee for Innovation in Social Media Marketing for the campaign SM Style Stories, an online series that ran for two (2) seasons last year and featured the most notable fashion personalities such as Nico Bolzico, Marlon Stockinger, Kimi and Boop Yap, Shaira Luna, Michele Gumabao, Aryana Epperson, Denise Go-Ochoa, Jess Wilson, Chi and Gabs Gibbs, hosted by Nicole Andersson.

The award is given to brands and/or organizations that have made an exemplary achievement in innovation of social media marketing. It focuses on how a brand has effectively utilized social media in translating to an effective marketing communication that draws impactful conversations and/or brand love.
The company’s FashioniSM, a collaboration with creative powerhouse Margaret Zhang, also bagged the silver award for Innovation in Cross-Media Marketing. This award is given to the brand which has successfully innovated the use of marketing from online to offline. It focuses on the strategy of mounting a campaign fully translated from digital to in-store up to on-ground assets.

The bronze award was also won by the store’s holiday campaign - It’s Christmas at SM. It is a full 360 campaign that establishes that SM, without a doubt, is the best shopping destination for the Christmas season.

The Stevies is the only business awards program that recognizes innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region.
It is widely considered as one of the world's premier business awards that confer recognition for outstanding programs, such as The International Business Awards which is already on its 16th year.
