Behind a high-octane offense, the QC Capitals dropped 143 points on Pasigueño, while the team’s defense down the stretch mattered, only giving up 16 fourth quarter points and 106 in total in the Metro League Reinforced Conference at the Hagonoy Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
Adzhar Udjan led nine Quezon City players in double figures with 16 points and also added 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block.
Rod Vasallo chipped in 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists, while Mon Mabayo came up with 14 points, eight boards, five dishes, and one steal.
QC was four points short of the record set by Manila last May 5, 147. Also, the Capitals eclipsed the 142 made by Pasigueño also in the said game.
Jobert Medina had 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one block, while Tim Gatchalian added 20 markers, four boards, two dimes, and one steal for Pasigueño.
Eugene Toba added 16 points, 18 caroms, five blocks, and one steal.
