Otso Diretso bets denied on Thursday involvement in the alleged plot to discredit the Duterte administration through "Totoong Narco-list" video.

Peter Joemel Advincula, alias "Bikoy" claimed that Otso Diretso bets were part of the ouster plot. He surrendered Wednesday afternoon to the Philippine National Police and named the opposition as behind the "Totoong Narco-list" video.
"Unang-una, yung binanggit na nakaharap niya daw ang 'Otso Diretso', yan ay mali. Sinabi ko na noon, hindi ko kilala si Bikoy at hindi ko pa siya nakausap ni minsan," Magdalo Party-List Rep. Alejano said in an interview with DZMM.
Alejano said the allegations that it was Otso Diretso's strategy to discredit the candidates and administration of President is "ridiculous." "Kami ay tumakbo sa plataporma na para sa ating bansa."
Advincula earlier said that he had met with all opposition bets except Manuel "Mar" Roxas.
"Ang galing niya gumawa gawa ng kwento. Ang galing niya mangdamay. Kung naniniwala silang totoo yan, mag-file sila ng kaso sa korte. Hindi 'yung gumagawa gawa sila ng kwento sa press con,” Alejano said.
Romulo Macalintal also found Advincula's allegations as “ridiculous and false”.
"Hindi ko nakakausap 'yan. Saka nakausap raw niya ang Otso Diretso? Hindi nga kami nakukumpleto eh," said Macalintal in a separate interview with Dobol B sa News TV.
Meanwhile, Atty. Chel Diokno clarified FLAG (Free Legal Assistance Group) is not Advincula's lawyer. "Inilapit sa FLAG ang kaso, pero tumanggi ang FLAG, kaya ang naging sagot namin ay sa IBP na lang siya lumapit. Karaniwan namang ginagawa ito ng mga abogado pag tumanggi silang tanggapin ang isang kaso."
Samira Gutoc also denied the claims of Advincula saying these allegations against Otso Diretso candidates and LP were solely “political harassment.”
"But in every dark place, the light and the truth will always prevail."
