Dave Ildefonso had 20 points, six rebounds and three assists while John Lloyd Clemente came off the bench to score 16 points as the Bulldogs ended their D-League with a 4-5 record after winning the last four matches.

The late surge proved to be too late as SMDC-NU fell short of securing a top four finish in the Foundation Group.

Tonton Peralta had 18 points but Perpetual finished with a 2-7 slate.

Meanwhile, Go for Gold-St. Benilde and St. Clare-Virtual Reality seek important wins against separate rivals at the same venue.

Go for Gold takes on lowly McDavid at 2 p.m. before St. Clare tackles AMA Online Education at 4 p.m.

St. Clare holds a 6-2 record while Go for Gold has a 5-3 slate to remain in contention for the three remaining quarterfinal slots in the Aspirants Group.
