PDP-Laban still lording it in Cavite

TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite --- The unopposed PDP-Laban ticket in this city has been proclaimed by the local Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Unopposed incumbent 8th District Rep. Abraham Tolentino was proclaimed on Wednesday.

Also proclaimed for the two-board member seats in 8th District were Rainier Ambion and Virgilio Varias.

Tolentino is a younger brother of Francis N. Tolentino, a PDP-Laban-Hukbong ng Pagbabago senatorial candidate.

Francis Tolentino was endorsed by President Duterte and presidential daughter Sara. Rep. Bambol Tolentino is the head of PDP-Laban in Cavite.

Tagaytay incumbent Mayor Agnes D. Tolentino and her running mate, incumbent Vice Mayor Mok Ambion was proclaimed earlier along with Councilors-elect Athena Tolentino, Micko Tolentino, Joel Tibayan, Lorna Toledo, Yolly Marasigan, Marcing Austria, Bianca Pello, Rey Espiritu, Sonny Batino and Annabelle Solis.

Athena is a daughter of the Tolentino couple---Agnes and Bambol---and Micko, a nephew.

In General Trias City, the unopposed slate of the National Unity Party (NUP) was proclaimed recently.

They are incumbent Mayor Antonio Ferrer, his brother incumbent 6th District Luis Ferrer IV, Board Members Kerby Salazar and Jango Grepo, Vice Mayor Morit Sison and Councilors-elect Jonas Labuguen, Gary Grepo, Claire Campana, Jowie Carampot, Krisine Jane Pedrito, Major Gani Culanding, Jay Columna, Tey Martinez, Florencio Ayos, Vivencio Lozares Jr., Richard Parin and Hernando Granados. #MatalinongBoto2019
