Manila mayoralty candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso cast his vote in Tondo, Manila Monday morning.
Domagoso arrived a few minutes before 8 a.m. at a polling precinct in Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in the city’s first district.
The vote counting machines (VCMs) at precinct 0257A, 0258A-B-C malfunctioned causing a delay in Domagoso’s voting. He fed his ballot twice to the VCM.
Domagoso urged Manileños to participate in the democratic process and exercise their right to vote.
His running mate, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, cast her vote at a polling precinct in Legarda Elementary School in Sampaloc, Manila.
The mayoralty candidate also thanked Manileños who showed their support for him and Lacuna throughout the 45-day campaign for local races.
The 44-year old candidate ran a platform-based campaign that centered on improving the city’s social services as well as a ten-year infrastructure plan to boost tourism, employment, and healthcare. #MatalinongBoto2019
