San Juan City is the first to proclaim its winning mayoral candidate in the 2019 midterm elections.
Francis Zamora of PDP Laban has finally been proclaimed by the City Board of Canvassers as San Juan City mayor on Monday night, after beating his opponent Janella Ejercito of Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.
As of 9:33 p.m., Zamora secured over 34,000 votes while Estrada only got 23,998 votes.
His running-mate, Jose Warren Villa, is also poised to win the vice mayoral race over Ejercito’s running-mate, Boy Celles.
