Go returns to rousing welcome in Pampanga

A week after visiting Porac, Pampanga to assist in the effort to help earthquake victims, former Special Assistant to the President and 2019 senatorial candidate Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go returned Friday to visit key areas of the province in a motorcade and attend gatherings of community leaders.

It could be recalled that Go accompanied President Rodrigo Duterte for the ocular inspection of the damage caused by the earthquake in Porac town. He had assured the people of Pampanga that the government would extend to them all available assistance.

Go expressed his gratitude for the display of support he received from the people of the province, noting that many residents came out on the streets, cheering his name, waving back at him and even taking selfies as his convoy passed by the streets of Angeles City, Mabalacat, San Fernando, Bacolor and Mexico.

Go said he would go around the country until the last minute of the campaign period, but not only to pursue his candidacy. More important to him, according to Go, was the opportunity to meet the people, hear their concerns, and leave a smile on their faces.

In a meeting in Angeles City, Go thanked the leaders of the province and House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for her endorsement and support.

Maraming salamat Ma’am,” Go said, addressing Arroyo.
