A man was apprehended when he jumped and ran on the tracks of Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) on Sunday afternoon.

According to the initial report posted by the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the man was identified as Guevara Soledad.
Soledad was first spotted crossing the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) footbridge near Kamuning Road at around 5:13 p.m.
He then jumped on to the MRT-3 tracks and ran northbound, heading towards Quezon Avenue Station, the report said.
Security personnel and barangay police officers chased down Soledad and apprehended him minutes later.
Soledad is now in the custody of Kamuning Police Station 10 of Quezon City Police District.
The operations of MRT-3 were suspended when the incident happened, to make way for its week-long general maintenance.
