The De La Salle University lit its facade in the colors of the French flag Tuesday night in solidarity with the people of France following the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire in central Paris.

Three parts of the St. La Salle Hall glowed in blue, white, and red.

“France is the birthplace of our Founder St. John Baptist de La Salle, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral was a place of refuge for him,” the University’s caption wrote.

The fire, which sent the cathedral’s towering spire and its roof crashing down was declared under control early Tuesday.
