DLSU makes it to 2019 World University Impact Rankings

De La Salle University was the only Philippine university included in Times Higher Education's (THE) 2019 World University Impact Rankings.

The ranking, released Wednesday, recognizes universities which have made an "impact on society."

For 2019, universities across the globe were assessed and ranked according to their "success in delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals".

"We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach, and stewardship," THE said.

DLSU ranked 301+ globally in the list, with an overall score of 23.8–53.6.

The university meanwhile ranked 201+ in SDGs namely Responsible Consumption and Production, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Sustainable Cities and Communities, Climate Action, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions; and +301 for Partnership for the Goals.

Mapua University also ranked 301+ in SDG 17, but failed to enter the overall ranking.
