Starting today, April 2, bottled liquids and drinks will be allowed inside trains of the Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT-1).
The LRT-1 management, on Twitter, announced that they have lifted their liquid ban.
“Sa lahat po ng aming mga minamahal na pasahero, epektibo mula ngayong ikalawa ng Abril 2019, lifted na ang pagbabawal sa anumang inumin o likido sa loob ng #LRT1,” the announcement read.
Last January 30, the LRT-1, along with LRT-2 and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) imposed a ban on bottled drinks and liquids on trains.

The move undertaken after the Philippine National Police (PNP) put Metro Manila on heightened alert following a terror attack in Jolo, Sulu.
LRT-2 and MRT-3 have both lifted the ban on liquids on its trains last February 21.
