“Taos-puso ang ating pasasalamat sa People’s Choice Movement sa pagsuporta sa atin (My heartfelt thanks to the People’s Choice Movement for supporting us),” Poe said in a statement.

The reelectionist senator, as an independent candidate, said she is banking on groups and individuals who support her advocacies.  “That’s why this endorsement is very important,” she said in Filipino.

Aside from Poe, the PCM also endorsed nine other senatorial candidates: reelectionist Sen Bam Aquino, Magdalo partylist Representative Gary Alejano, former Solicitor-General Florin Hilbay, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, former Bayan Muna partylist Rep. Neri Colmenares, former Congressman Erin Tañada, human rights lawyer Chel Diokno, election lawyer Romulo Macalintal, and Muslim civic leader Samira Gutoc.

PCM is a faith-based organization composed of various Catholic, Protestant, and evangelical groups.
