New police stations in Dinagat Islands inaugurated

BUTUAN CITY – The newly-constructed police stations in the towns of Dinagat and Loreto, in the Province of Dinagat Islands (PDI) were formally turned over to the PNP personnel on Friday, March 21.

Senior Supt Rolando Portera, chief of the Regional Logistics Research and Development Division, Senior Supt Daniel Peusca, provincial director of PDI Police Provincial Office, and Supt Joseph Estrada, chief of the Regional Project Management Unit 13 attended the events.

Local officials of Loreto town, led by Mayor Erwin San Juan attended the ribbon cutting and unveiling of the marker of Loreto Municipal Police Station (MPS).

In Dinagat MPS, Mayor Craig Ecleo and Vice Mayor Petnel Sombrado and other local officials attended the activity.

Chief Supt. Gilberto Cruz, regional director of Northeastern Mindanao Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13), expressed gratitude to the local officials for their support to the local police.
