The local chapter of Guhit Pinas displays for sale the artworks of at least 20 local artists at the Navotas City Hall lobby.

This is the first time that the group conducted an exhibit-for-a-cause in the city.

Members of the CICL, or the minors accused of committing crimes, of the Bahay Pagasa are selected to become the event’s beneficiaries.

Irish Cubillan, public information officer, said the exhibit aims to seek funds to be donated to the youth center.

She added that the fund will be used to buy art materials and support learning sessions of the children.

The event will run until today (March 15). But Cubillan said that prospective buyers can still visit Navoteño AKO! Facebook page to see the artworks which remain available.

The artworks are created by local artists including Councilor Ethel Arriola, Catrina Fernandez, Errol Acol, Ben-hur Rivera, John Kevin Jiongco, Mhayong Peralta, Marlon Peralta, Almario Tangalin, Lorenzo Joaquin dela Cruz, Faith Prado, Mary Rose Blancaflor, Sean Leander, Rhinoa Shane Enriquez, Noel Tolentino, Christine Mae Barlan, Chela Padilla, Aron Reyes, Aaron Landicho and Yurie Cruz.
