Iloilo City – A 27-year-old man hacked his aunt to death in Malinao town, Aklan province after being accused of having sex with the latter’s cow.
Chief Inspector Gilbert Baldevarona, police chief of Manilao, said that suspect Marjune Victoriano killed his aunt Irene Nedic Victoriano.

Baldevarona told Manila Bulletin in a phone interview Wednesday that Victoriano admitted to authorities killing the 41-year-old aunt when he lost his temper in a heated argument.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon, but the victim’s body was only discovered before lunch time of Monday.
Baldevarona said Victoriano was also arrested Monday in neighboring Banga town following a hot pursuit operation after witnesses came forward and told authorities they saw him argue with his aunt the afternoon before.
However, Victoriano did not confirm whether or not he had sex with the victim’s cow.
Meanwhile, murder charges have been filed against Victoriano before the Aklan Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. He is now under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).
